Kamasan B830 size 14 hook. Uni-thread 8/0 black. Few fibres of a cock pheasant tail dyed red. Body and thorax dubbed with Hends black hare plus dubbing, ribbed with fine silver wire. Black dyed pheasant tail for wing case and legs. [Note – the nymph is tied weighted and unweighted. This tying is my version. The original pattern, using hen pheasant was created by Gordon Fraser, a well known nymph expert who fished the reservoirs in the UK about 40 years or so ago]
