Kamasan B120 size 12 hook. Danville’s flymaster 6/0 black thread. Glo-Brite crimson floss tail. Body of dubbed black seals fur ribbed with copper tinsel. Furnace hen cape hackle. Note – this fly is based on a dressing by A.H.York, a Redditch tackle dealer who used to tour the Welsh Borderlands selling a range of flies. My version is an adaption of a variation of that fly by George Barron, author of ‘At the end of the line’ – an excellent book.
