FullingMill FM50 size 14 hook. Uni-thread 8/0 black. Thread body ribbed with very fine silver wire. Coot covert hackle ( unfortunately waterhen feathers unavailable.). This fly is at least 200 years old and was found in a reprinted book, ‘The Northern Angler’ by John Kirkbride of Carlisle, (1837) then in the County of Cumberland.
