Kamasan B170 size 12 hook. Uni-thread 8/0 black. Red Uni-floss tail. Body of thread wrapped with one strand of Krystal Flash silver tinsel and ribbed with fine silver wire. Collar of 3 wraps of one green peacock herl. ( NB – the peacock herl collar is my amendment, ) Indian hen cape black hackle. [Note – this fly is also known as, Butcher Spider, red-tailed Silver Spider or Silver Zulu. It is an excellent lake fly and I believe sea trout too.]
