Fulling Mill 5050 size 14 hook. Uni-thread 8/0 black. Tag of two wraps of silver tinsel. Body of thread with thorax of 3 or 4 wraps of a black ostrich herl. Black hen cape hackle wrapped with several turns. Note – this fly was created by Harold Howorth from Lancashire probably about 80 years or more ago. Mr Howorth was a highly respected fly dresser.
