Hends BL599 size 18 hook. Uni-thread 8/0 grey. Body of two fibres of cock pheasant tail dyed heron grey ribbed with tying thread. Starling hackle. Note – this is a pattern created by James Ogden of Cheltenham in the late 1800s. The body should be from a heron feather but they are now protected.
