Hends BL599 size 16 hook. Uni-thread 8/0 black. Body of few herls from a magpie tail feather wrapped and then ribbed with very fine silver wire. Starling hackle. Note – the starling feather has an attractive sheen to it as does the magpie, although the sheen on the magpie is not very obvious from the photo.
