Kamasan B120 size 12 hook. Uni-thread 8/0 black. Few fibres of cock pheasant tail feather dyed claret. First half of body wrapped with pearl tinsel. Remainder dubbed with dark claret seals fur. All body ribbed with red wire. Hen cape dyed claret hackle tied in followed by few fibres of deer hair for wing. Grizzle hen cape hackle tied in long and full. Note – this dressing is my version of a fly by George Barron from his book, ‘At the End of the Line’. The fly name is an abbreviation of, “Smell No Taste” referring to George’s time in Liberia in 1970s. If you want the full story you will have to buy his book. Money well spent.
