Hends BL700 size 10 hook, Danville’s flymaster 6/0 brown olive thread, Veniard’s medium olive marabou for tail leaving the remaining butt uncut. Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift Bracken wool is tied on twisted tightly and wrapped to form the base of the body, over which a fibre of Orvis olive ostrich herl is wrapped. The uncut butt of the marabou tail is pulled over the back and tied down at the eye to form the head.
