Hends BL599 size 14 hook. Danville’s Flymaster 6/0 primrose thread. Body of Danville’s Flymaster 6/0 fluo yellow thread followed by one strand of Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift steel (320) wool wrapped over thread but allowing the colour of thread to ‘peep through’. When wet the colouring should become more obvious, hopefully giving an olive tinge to the body. The fluo yellow thread is tied off after body completed and the primrose thread is tied in to finish the fly off. Coot under covert hackle.
