Fulling Mill 1710 size 14 hook. Semperfli 12/0 brown waxed thread. Few fibres of a cock pheasant tail feather dyed golden olive for tail and wing case. Body of one strand of Jamieson’s of Shetland yellow ochre spindrift wool, ribbed with gold wire. Thorax of one ply of tan green (241) spindrift wool. Ends of wing case feather fibres tied swept back to create legs. Note – additional ribbing wire is wrapped over hook in thorax region to add a little weight.
