Kamasan B830 size 12 hook. Textreme 6/0 black thread. Body weighted with wire then 2 or 3 wraps of a furnace hen neck hackle wrapped at the rear of the hook followed by two peacock herls dyed black. Body is ribbed with dark copper wire. Few fibres of a Bronze Mallard feather tied in as a wing. Comment – this pattern was created in the 1960s by George Briggs of Idaho, USA as a nymph for fishing Sheep’s Creek Reservoir. It has many variations but is a very successful pattern.
