Body of few fibres of a natural cock pheasant tail feather ribbed with fine dark copper wire (taken from an electric motor). Thorax of Vicuña Fiery Brown dubbing from their dry fly range. Cock pheasant neck hackle. Comment – many years ago I had much success with this pattern using a different but similar coloured dubbing then, on the lakes of North Wales as my ‘Daddy’ imitation.
