Kamasan B120 size 14 hook. Uni-thread 8/0 black. Body of thread wrapped with Hends peacock pearl flat tinsel – this is varnished with Veniards brush coat varnish. Two natural peacock herls wrapped to create a thorax. Collins hen saddle hackle – the hackle is dark brown almost black but has little flecks of light brown on the tips of some of the fibres.
