Hends BL200 size 14 hook. Uni-thread 8/0 orange. Body of thread wrapped with one strand of Pearsall’s orange marabou silk. Brown partridge hackle from the wing. Note – this is how I used to tie this fly almost 60 years ago when Pearsall’s silk thread was readily available. When wet the silk gives an appealing translucence to the fly.
