Kamasan B405 size 14 hook. Uni-thread 8/0 dark brown. Gold lurex butt with few fibres of pheasant tail wound for body ribbed with fine dark copper wire for protection. Partridge hackle. [Note – this fly is my version of the pattern created by Jim Wynn (1898-1974), who was a river keeper on the River Wharfe in the Yorkshire Dales. The original dressing did not have copper wire ribbing and the pheasant was cross wound to create a ‘lumpy’ thorax]
