Fraser Nymph.

Kamasan B830 size 14 hook. Uni-thread 8/0 tan. Few fibres of a hen pheasant tail feather to create the tail and body, which is reverse ribbed with the loose end of tying thread which was not cut off. Thorax of tan superfine dubbing. Wing case of few fibres of hen pheasant, using the tips to create the legs by tying them in at head and sweeping back. This nymph was Gordon Fraser’s signature fly (see previous post to learn about Gordon Fraser).
