Kamasan B120 size 12 hook. Danville’s flymaster 6/0 black thread. Body of a bunch of cock pheasant tail fibres wrapped, in touching turns, (not twisted) and ribbed with fine dark copper wire. Blue/grey underfur from a rabbit dubbed to form the thorax with pheasant tail fibres forming the wing case. The thread head has a double whip finish. [NOTE – this fly was created by Arthur Cove about 60+ years ago for fishing the reservoirs. It is tied in different sizes and also on long shank hooks. The original dressing uses the blue/gray underfur of the rabbit and the body starts slightly round the bend of the hook – there is no tail. It is a lethal fly and over the years it has caught me many trout!]
