Kamasan B420 size 14 hook. Semperfli 12/0 black classic waxed thread. Body of 3 fibres of a cock pheasant tail feather ribbed with dark fine copper wire from an electric motor. Thorax of dubbed natural rabbit blue-grey under fur. Pheasant tail fibres wing case. Thread head. Note – a lethal pattern created by Arthur Cove. The pattern has been the subject of many variations over the years but it has caught a lot of fish. In my Stillwater fly fishing days it was never off my cast and accounted for a lot of trout.
