Body of dark brown marabou feather base with short length of burlap over wrapped then ribbed with hen pheasant hackle from the wing tied in at bend and palmered to head. No need worry about how the hackle lies as it is going to be clipped. Comment – this tying is inspired by the ‘Horsethief Cased Caddis’ pattern created by Marv Taylor of Idaho, USA.
