Kamasan B800 4xl size 10 hook. Uni-thread 6/0 black. Few hackle fibres for tail. Body of three strands of natural peacock herl ribbed with gold wire. The hook is weighted with few turns of lead wire. Hen Pheasant back patch hackle. Comment – this pattern goes back to the 1920s and was and I think is still very popular in British Columbia, Canada. However there are many variants. This is my version but I think I ought to have used cock pheasant hackles. However I do like hen pheasant and peacock herl.
