Brahma Hen & Claret wet fly.

Sprite S2160 size 14 hook. Uni-thread 8/0 wine. Tail of few fibres of dyed pheasant tail. Gold tinsel tag. Body of dubbed claret Leicester sheep wool ribbed with gold wire. 1st hackle of one wrap of claret dyed hen cape hackle. Front hackle of Whiting Brahma hen dyed March brown. Note – this dressing is my version of the ‘Partridge & Claret’ detailed by George Barron in his excellent book, ‘A Fine Line’, although I have used a Whiting Brahma hen hackle instead of Partridge.
