Sprite S2160 size 12 hook. Uni-thread 8/0 red. Few bronze mallard feather fibres for tail. Body of Vicuna fire red dubbing ribbed with silver wire. Black hen cape hackle. Note – this fly is based on a fly from North Wales used by the slate quarrymen who fished the lakes of the region. Apparently this was one to have on your cast during wet weather.
