Hanak H970 BL size 8 Streamer Hook. Uni-thread 6/0. Black marabou for tail with few strands of black Krystal Flash. Body weighted with lead wire then wrapped with a mix of ChuckNDuck original black Electric Mosaic dubbing and red Antron dubbing. The body is ribbed with copper wire . An Indian Red Grizzle hen cape hackle is tied in half way with two wraps, then another red grizzle hackle at the head. The head is varnished. Comment – unfortunately the ‘black’ in the grizzle hackles doesn’t show as well as it looks. I think in future dressings of this pattern I may replace the red grizzle head hackle with a natural black.
