Kamasan B120 size 14 hook, Semperfli 12/0 black classic waxed thread. The body is tied short. Body of layer of thread wrapped with several turns of very fine dark copper wire ( mine is from an electric motor) then make two or three wraps of one herl of peacock dyed magenta for the ‘bronze effect’. Black hen cape hackle tied sparsely. Comment – this fly is lethal but I doubt many will use it today. It was created by Frederick E Mold and appeared in his book, ‘Presenting the Fly to the Trout’ published in 1967. One of my favourite books.
