Hends BL599 size 16 hook. Uni-thread 8/0 tan. Body of thread over wrapped with one strand from an Orvis Tan Ostrich herl feather (very soft and fine). The tying thread is used to rib it, Indian hen gold honey badger hackle. Comment – I would fish this close to the surface or touch it with a little mucilin and fish it as a ‘damp’ fly in the surface film.
